Our Facilities

We offer a comfortable, homely environment where, with the right care and dedicated support, every young person can fulfill their potential. Every young person is individual and unique in their needs, as is our approach to planning and caring for them. We take time to explore every issue that affects an individual and provide a nurturing environment in which their needs are met. Centrally Located


Our residential services are available in the market town of Bedford. and is ready to provide care for your child/young person. A location risk assessment has been completed and is available upon request.

The Rhema Projects is a large detached house, providing nine bedrooms on three floors and has been refurbished to a high standard.

The home is close to local amenities, including town centre shopping, train and bus station and local college. It is within 10 minutes walking distance of all local amenities including leisure facilities, a cinema, various cafes, swimming pool, and a sports centre. There is good access to the countryside with the river and walks nearby.


Our Accommodation

We are proud of our high quality, family-like shared accommodation which has been designed around the needs of the individuals that we support. Our homes are well maintained and resourced, offering home away from home care, in an environment that will support and encourage young people’s development.


Each young person has their own well-furnished and spacious double bedroom with a double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers and the necessary furniture to support private study. Wi-Fi is also available throughout. Every room is lockable and young people are provided with a key. They are encouraged to personalise their bedroom with pictures, posters etc..

Ground Floor

The ground floor comprises of three bedrooms, one lounge room with TV, kitchen and bathroom, and utility room. The staff office and sleeping room is based on the ground floor enabling staff to chart the movements of young people entering and leaving the building.

A computer and Internet access is available should the need arise for any young person wishing to research education or activities based learning. This is dependent on the risk to the young person therefore supervision may be required.

There is a small garden at the rear with garden furniture, a barbecue and punch bag all for the use of the young people.

First Floor

The first floor comprises of four double spacious bedrooms, one large bathroom with bath and shower fitted, one cloakroom, a fitted kitchen and lounge area with TV.

Second Floor

The second floor comprises of two double bedrooms and a shower room including WC.


Security Measures

The home is staffed at all times with alarm systems and smoke detectors in all areas. Each landing has appropriate fire extinguishers and the front and back doors are locked and manned by staff at all times.
